On December 16th 2025, the 15th Annual Conference “Clinical Trials Management – Challenges & Expectations” was held in Belgrade, bringing together professionals, educators, and industry experts involved in the planning, conduct, and oversight of clinical research.
Organised by CRA Academy, the conference focused on current challenges and evolving expectations in clinical trial management. Discussions covered emerging trends in clinical trial design and execution, regulatory developments, best practices in trial conduct, and opportunities to strengthen collaboration among sponsors, investigators, regulators, and research sites.
Dr Nevena Veljković represented GENIAL as a speaker with the presentation “European Health Data Space and Serbia’s Alignment.” Her talk explored the evolving European regulatory landscape for health data, the relevance of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) for clinical research, and the opportunities and challenges associated with Serbia’s alignment with European health data frameworks.
