The fourth annual StarTech competition, organized by NALED with the support of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and funded by Philip Morris, attracted more than 160 applicants.
From this pool, 12 innovative startups were selected as winners and received a total of USD 500,000 in financial support. GENIAL was selected as one of 12 winners of the 2024 StarTech programme. The award supports the development of GLANCE, GENIAL’s cloud-based platform designed to streamline the analysis of complex omics data. It combines automated analytical workflows with hybrid CPU/GPU processing to support faster, scalable, reproducible, and traceable analysis. By bringing advanced computational methods into a structured and user-friendly environment, GLANCE aims to reduce analytical complexity and support more consistent interpretation of omics data in biomedical research and drug development.
